Taize is an ecumenical movement begun in Taize, France in 1940. It is pronounced “tay-zay” as with the “ay” in the English word “day”.
One of the activities of the American Beguines has been to introduce individuals, groups, and churches to the simple, meditative musical prayers of Taize.
